My name is Lori Moras and I am a Recruitment Specialist at LucasWorks.
Assisting companies with their efforts to bring in reliable, skilled candidates, and assisting candidates with finding an employer with whom they can showcase their talents and thrive is what makes me tick.
Having worked in the automotive industry and experienced the closure of two plants, as well as having three businesses (that employed me) succumb to the climate of an employment recession has put me in a unique and empathic position to be sitting across the desk from candidates in like situations. I get it, and it makes me very proud to be able to help them get back on their feet, as employment agencies including Lucas Works did for me.
I am proud to sit on the Survivor Committee for the Canadian Cancer Society for the second consecutive year, as well as serve them in their peer support program (cancer survivors helping newly diagnosed patients cope with their diagnosis) for over twelve years. I am also a member of the Lucas Works Charitable Committee, where we plan the year’s charitable events such as Big Brothers / Big Sisters Bowling for Kids, the Heart and Stroke Foundation’s Big Bike and Windsor Western Hospital’s Hats on for Kids day.
