My name is Emily Benoit and I am a Recruitment Specialist at LucasWorks.

Being from the Windsor area I was familiar with the great reputation LucasWorks has from their charitable work in the community and their ability to provide quality service in helping people find employment. So when I was given the chance to be part of their team I knew it was an opportunity I couldn’t pass up.

I graduated from McMaster University with a degree in Labour Studies and am currently working on completing my Human Resources Certificate from St. Clair College. I am looking forward to applying what I have learned in school and my pervious work experience in customer service at LucasWorks.

My name is Angela Kharboutli and I am the Communications Coordinator at LucasWorks.

When I initially heard that my position became available, I jumped at the chance to apply!  Having spent the majority of my professional life in Windsor, ON, I was quite familiar with LucasWorks, its reputation, strong culture of leadership and community involvement, and wanted to be part of the team.

As a Communications Coordinator, I put skill and creativity to work every day.  I ensure the exceptional delivery of integrated communications plans and also steward the LucasWorks social media.  I like to plan and generate dynamic content that is not only engaging, but also gets the community and our employees excited about what it is they are reading or experiencing.

Born in Vancouver, BC, but raised in Windsor, ON, I graduated from the University of Windsor with a Bachelor of Arts in Communications, Media and Film Studies and a Minor in Political Science.  After completing my Undergraduate Degree, I moved to Toronto, ON where I obtained a Post-Graduate Certificate in Public Relations.

Outside of work I enjoy volunteering for a variety of community organizations including The Heart and Stroke Foundation, The Canadian Mental Health Association and The Windsor International Film Festival.

My name is Marnie Filangeri and I am a Recruitment Specialist at Lucasworks. I was first acquainted with Lucasworks after relocating from Toronto and leaving my job behind. Having been from Windsor originally I was well aware of the Lucasworks reputation and sought help from the Professional Services Division. It was a matter of days before I was presented with the opportunity to work for Lucasworks and I couldn’t pass it up.

Lucasworks offers a unique opportunity for me to utilize my education – a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Windsor. I am able to source the best fit for our clients as well as offer our candidates the opportunity to succeed in suitable roles. At one point or another most of us will know what it`s like to struggle to find work, so being able to facilitate the relationship between the client and candidate has proved to be exceptionally rewarding.

Margie Lyder LucasWorks My name is Margie Lyder and I am the Payroll Specialist for LucasWorks! I started out in this business as a Recruiter and worked until I started my family. When I was ready to return to the paid workforce I was given the opportunity to work from home as an After Hours Customer Service Representative where I learned the importance of putting the customer first.

Here at LucasWorks the Accounting Department is my new home. I am continuously learning, both at work and in studies at St Clair, to obtain my Bookkeeping certification. With the latest addition of our new office in Woodstock I am looking forward to the challenge of overseeing the payroll for four offices! As our company continues to grow and expand I am excited to be a part of a company who is a Leader in the industry.
